Meet Marina

Hello! I'm Marina, a folk artist, storyteller, and scent enthusiast who founded Marina Made It to create fragrances that feel like returning home—or discovering somewhere new.

My love of scent began with my mother. We'd visit candle stores together, smelling everything, talking about fragrance the way some people talk about wine. As a homeschooled kid who loved hands-on chemistry, I spent hours blending lotions, scrubs, and soaps in our kitchen, fascinated by how scent could shift a mood or evoke a memory.

The turning point came at an Apple Festival in North Georgia, where I stumbled upon two women teaching candle making. I was hooked. I realized then that handcrafted fragrance could do more than smell beautiful—it could create connection, offer sanctuary, and tell stories worth remembering.

Years later, I'm still blending scents in our humble Jensen Beach studio, now alongside my mother. Every candle we pour is made with intention—for you, for the places we love, and for the moments that matter.
