Each scent is grounded in a real place: the salt air of Florida's Treasure Coast, the frankincense-scented stones of St. Augustine's ancient fortress, the night-blooming jasmine of Savannah's moonlit squares. We craft fragrances that whisper rather than shout—present but never overpowering, designed for those who appreciate nuanced scent that unfolds over time.

We make candles to be burned, not just displayed. Every product is handcrafted in small batches in our Jensen Beach, Florida studio with intention and care—clean ingredients, timeless vessels, and stories that linger long after the flame goes out.

Meet Marina

Hello! I'm Marina, a folk artist, storyteller, and scent enthusiast who founded Marina Made It to create fragrances that feel like returning home or discovering somewhere new.

My love of scent began with my mother. We'd visit candle stores together, smelling everything, talking about fragrance the way some people talk about wine. As a home schooled kid who loved hands-on chemistry, I spent hours blending lotions, scrubs, and soaps in our kitchen, fascinated by how scent could shift a mood or evoke a memory.

The turning point came at an Apple Festival in North Georgia, where I stumbled upon two women teaching candle making. I was hooked. I realized then that handcrafted fragrance could do more than smell beautiful, it could create connection, offer sanctuary, and tell stories worth remembering.

What began as my entrepreneurial capstone project has grown into a fully operating fragrance brand with a wholesale program, corporate gifting clients, and contributions to community events available across the Treasure Coast. I graduated having built something I'm proud of and intend to keep building.

Continuing on this path, I'm still blending scents in our humble Jensen Beach studio, now alongside my mother. Every candle we pour is made with intention — for you, for the places we love, and for the moments that matter. I'm currently enrolled in formal studies in cosmetic chemistry, with aromatherapy certifications to follow, with the goal of bringing an even more nuanced hand to everything Marina Made It creates.
