Tarpon Springs, Florida's "Little Greece," is home to the historic Sponge Docks—where Greek sponge divers settled over a century ago and built a thriving Mediterranean community on the Gulf Coast. By the 1930s, Tarpon Springs had become the largest sponge-harvesting port in the world, with Greek families building Orthodox churches and creating a community where Greek was spoken as often as English. Along the waterfront, sponge boats return to dock, hanging their catch to dry in the Florida sun. This candle captures the essence of the Sponge Docks—sweet lemon blossoms drifting from the shore, the gentle warmth of a Gulf Coast afternoon, the peaceful rhythm of a working waterfront where tradition meets the sea.
Each Sponge Docks candle is available in your choice of vessel: vintage glass Glow Jars for home elegance or rugged Infinity Tins for adventure and travel. Both feature the same premium, custom coconut, soybean, and apricot waxes.
Both classic 8 oz vessels hold vintage and timeless appeal—handcrafted just for you. Insatiably curious, we search the country for high-quality fragrance and essential oils to blend for your pleasure and peace of mind. Our scents are crafted to whisper rather than shout—present but never overpowering, designed for those who appreciate nuanced fragrance that unfolds over time. Up to 60 hours burn time expected, dependent upon use. Made with clean-burning, cotton wicks. No phthalates! No parabens! No "bad" stuff.

Candle Safety Guidelines
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials
• Trim wick to ¼ inch before each use
• Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• Extinguish candle when ½ inch of wax remains
• Keep burning candles at least 3 inches apart
• Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out flame to extinguish

• Flip reeds weekly for optimal fragrance release
• Do not ingest - if swallowed, seek medical attention immediately
• In case of spill, clean immediately with soap and water
